Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

In 2009¬†our children brought the Old Testament tale of Joseph and his coat of many colours to life. This story gets a splashy, vigorous treatment with music by Andrew Lloyds Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. Joseph is a handsome young man, his father’s favourite child and he has a gift for interpreting dreams. He is also the owner of an amazing technicolour coat. Sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, Joseph ends up in an Egyptian jail. His talents with dreams, brings him to the attention of the Pharaoh, who appoints him to the post of Number Two man in Egypt. Years later, Joseph’s brothers arrive to Egypt seeking help. After giving them a bit of a scare, Joseph, benevolently grants them all they desire, reveals his identity, and reunites the family.
